Food is a universal language of joy and of love. People who give you their food, give you their hearts. This sums up why I love food, and from where my passion for food photography stems.

My name is Reef Fakhoury, and I am an award winning Dubai based food photographer and stylist. Over the past several years I have learnt a great deal about food photography and styling, starting off by art directing numerous restaurant and hotel photo shoots  in my capacity as marketing communications manager of a luxury hotel chain. When I decided to take the leap into the world of food photography, I started working as an assistant to a professional food photographer as well as to a food stylist, in order to get more of a hands on experience in both areas, which leads me to where I am today.

I have developed an immaculate eye for detail, and have solidified my style. I capture images that stay true to the subject through styling that incorporates farm fresh ingredients that are used to create the dish. This approach is an honest one, through which I aim to honor my subject.
